This weekend’s massive snowfall brought big impacts — both good and bad. But we’re happy to say… we got the best of it! 🙌 At Takasu Snow Park, snowfall increased dramatically 🏔️ The slopes are now seriously powered up!! And yes — there’s way more snow than what you see in this video! ❄️❄️❄️ As shown in the video, the location and scale are already top-tier — and now the snow quality and powder chances are even better than before. Regardless of snowfall forecasts, the intense cold is guaranteed. If it snows as expected, it’ll be an epic powder opportunity! Even if snowfall ends up lighter than forecast, we’ll take full advantage of the cold temperatures to upgrade the slopes with our snowmaking system. In other words, there’s no scenario where Takasu Snow Park doesn’t get better from here on out! This season, ski resorts across the Gifu area haven’t been blessed with ideal weather conditions, but step by step, we’ve continued to grow—and the slopes are becoming more comfortable and enjoyable every day. And less heavy snowfall isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Even so, we couldn’t just sit back and complain. Thanks to carefully planned snowmaking operations, we’re excited to finally announce the opening of our regular halfpipe! The halfpipe is the flagship feature of Takasu Snow Park. Not only in Gifu, but across Japan, there are now only a handful of ski resorts that maintain a permanent halfpipe. Conditions are expected to be just like in the video, with a touch of fresh powder on top! Although ski resorts in Gifu got off to a slow start early this season, over the past few days they’ve finally been returning to their true form.
